Privacy Policy

• Account information — your email address and authentication details, held by our database and authentication provider so you can sign in.
• Truck profile — the equipment, fuel economy, and cost-per-mile figures you save on My Truck. Stored on your device when signed out, and on your account when signed in.
• Load history — the loads you save, including the numbers you entered and the results. Stored on your device when signed out, and on your account when signed in.
• Broker and facility reviews — your ratings and comments, linked to your account so you can delete your own review.

Reviews are shown without your name or email address. Other drivers see the ratings and comment only.

To look up live information we send only what a lookup needs: a broker name or docket number for FMCSA carrier records, pickup and delivery locations for truck routing, and a pickup state for regional diesel prices. We do not send your email address, truck profile, or load history to these services.

Truck Buddy stores limited first-party beta usage events so we can understand which features are used. Events may be tied to your account when you are signed in. Analytics metadata does not contain passwords, authentication tokens, full load history, review comments, or typed search terms, and it is not used for advertising. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs needed to operate the site.

You can delete individual saved loads and your own reviews in the app. You may request account deletion by contacting us. We will process deletion requests in accordance with applicable data-retention and legal obligations.

We keep account, profile, history, and review data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet applicable legal or operational obligations. Data tied to a deleted account is removed or anonymized once those obligations allow.

We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect your data, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong password and keep your sign-in credentials private.
